Former Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has officially responded to an invitation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). According to a statement released on Wednesday by Ohiare Michael, Director of the Yahaya Bello Media Office, this decision followed comprehensive consultations with his family, legal advisors, and political associates.
The statement emphasized Bello’s commitment to the rule of law and his continuous respect for due process. It highlighted that Bello’s legal actions were aimed at ensuring his fundamental rights were upheld, stating, “The case has been presented before a competent court, with Alhaji Yahaya Bello’s legal team representing him at every hearing.
