Emir Aminu Ado of Kano conveyed concerns about the difficulties faced by Nigerians during a meeting with First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, urging her to communicate these concerns to her husband, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He acknowledged that while there are various channels of communication with the President, her direct involvement would ensure the message reaches him.

Expressing his distress over the declining standard of living under the current administration, Emir Aminu Ado raised questions about the relocation of key government agencies from the federal capital Territory to Lagos. He specifically mentioned the relocation of departments of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), noting the suspicions surrounding these decisions and calling for transparency and clarity from the government.

Emir Aminu Ado emphasized the importance of addressing the issue of insecurity, urging the government to take more decisive action to address the threats facing the country. He commended Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu for her concern for the wellbeing of Nigerian children and encouraged her to continue supporting initiatives that benefit the less privileged, particularly under her Renewed Hope Agenda.

Regarding education, the Emir stressed the importance of tackling the issue of girl child education and urged the First Lady to give it due attention. He also appreciated her support for the people of Plateau State during crises and prayed for similar assistance to other communities in need.
