Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, has stated that Nigerians get what they deserve because they have the opportunity to vote. In an interview with ARISE NEWS, Amaechi emphasized that citizens have the chance to choose their leaders through the democratic process, and the outcomes reflect their collective decisions.
Amaechi discouraged the idea of leaving the country, asserting that Nigeria is a land of opportunities. He encouraged people to stay in the country, highlighting the unique opportunities to rise to leadership positions such as becoming a minister or governor with unexpected and swift career advancements.
The former Rivers State Governor expressed his fear of God as a factor that sets him apart from other elites and politicians. He emphasized the importance of honesty and being true to oneself, even if it means speaking the truth under challenging circumstances.
Amaechi advised young people in Nigeria to strive to get into positions of decision-making, particularly in the economic sector. He suggested expanding the economy to accommodate more individuals, addressing issues like crime by providing more opportunities for employment.
When asked about his political career, Amaechi chose not to give a direct response, leaving the question unanswered.
