Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 25 February election, has filed a challenge with the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja, disputing the declaration of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as election winner.

Dr. Yunusa Tanko, the Chief Spokesman for the Labour Party’s presidential campaign, tweeted this on Monday.

“It is official that Peter OBI, the Labor Party presidential candidate, has filed his petition with the presidential elections tribunal in Abuja,” he tweeted. The process of recovering the mandate of the people has begun.
