Lagos Gubernatorial: MC Oluomo Issues Threat-to-Life to Voters Who Won’t Vote APC

Chairman of the Lagos State Parks Management Committee Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo, has issued a warning to Igbo voters in Lagos state ahead of the March 18 governorship and State Assembly elections.

MC Oluomo, an APC chieftain, threatened Igbo people in the state to stay home on election day if they did not vote for the ruling party during a recent party meeting titled “Lagos Rising.”

The APC leader stated in Yoruba that they have pleaded with the Igbo, and if they continue to vote for their candidate, there will be consequences.

“Iya Chukwudi, if you want to vote for us, abeg sit down at home ooo, we have pleaded with you not to show up on election day,” he stated.

Remember that Peter Obi, the LP presidential candidate, defeated Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the candidate of the ruling APC, in the Lagos State presidential election on February 25.

In Lagos, Obi received 582,454 votes, defeating Tinubu, who received 572,606 votes, and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who received 75,750 votes.

Following Obi’s success in Lagos during the presidential elections, his fans have pledged to do the same for LP’s governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour.
