Between February 25 to March 31, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported five new COVID-19 illnesses.

The agency reported that four of the incidents occurred in Rivers and one in Lagos.

According to the most recent situation report provided by the NCDC on Saturday, there have been 266,665 confirmed cases, 259,951 patients discharged, and 3,155 deaths in 36 states and the federal capital area.

Five new cases have been reported from two states: Rivers (4) and Lagos (1). Four states have reported no cases: Abia, Kaduna, Kano, and Nasarawa.

“Activated at Level 2, a multisectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC) continues to coordinate national response actions.”

The National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHCDA) reported on Friday that 71,183,637 of the total targeted eligible population have been fully vaccinated, while 11,871,959 have been partially vaccinated.
