Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the governor of Enugu State, was present on Tuesday when Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), held a campaign rally in the state.<\/p>\n
The governor who is a member of the G5 governors, a group of five PDP governors at odds with Atiku, was not present at the campaign event.<\/p>\n
The governors, Ugwuanyi, Nyesom Wike of Rivers, Seyi Makinde of Oyo, Samuel Ortom of Benue, and Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia, are requesting Ayu’s resignation as national chairperson of the party.<\/p>\n
Governor Ugwuanyi was there when Atiku Abubakar visited the government house, however he was absent from the campaign rally.<\/p>\n
