Once that is done, we will begin work immediately.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1802\" data-end=\"2003\">Turaki also highlighted the party\u2019s resilience since Nigeria\u2019s return to democracy in 1999, noting that the PDP remains the only major political party that has preserved its original name and identity.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2005\" data-end=\"2182\">\u201cThis endurance is because the PDP is the party of the Nigerian people,\u201d he stated. \u201cMake no mistake \u2014 we are returning this party to you.
