According to him, federal, state, and local governments now have more resources to meet development needs.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1053\" data-end=\"1096\">He highlighted key economic achievements:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1097\" data-end=\"1540\">\n<li data-start=\"1097\" data-end=\"1160\">\n<p data-start=\"1099\" data-end=\"1160\">Q2 2025 GDP growth of <strong data-start=\"1121\" data-end=\"1130\">4.23%<\/strong>, the fastest in four years.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1161\" data-end=\"1239\">\n<p data-start=\"1163\" data-end=\"1239\">Inflation decline to <strong data-start=\"1184\" data-end=\"1209\">20.12% in August 2025<\/strong>, the lowest in three years.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1240\" data-end=\"1311\">\n<p data-start=\"1242\" data-end=\"1311\">Record-breaking <strong data-start=\"1258\" data-end=\"1308\">non-oil revenue of N20 trillion by August 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1312\" data-end=\"1387\">\n<p data-start=\"1314\" data-end=\"1387\">External reserves rising to <strong data-start=\"1342\" data-end=\"1360\">$42.03 billion<\/strong>, the highest since 2019.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1388\" data-end=\"1452\">\n<p data-start=\"1390\" data-end=\"1452\">Debt service-to-revenue ratio cut from <strong data-start=\"1429\" data-end=\"1449\">97% to below 50%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1453\" data-end=\"1540\">\n<p data-start=\"1455\" data-end=\"1540\">Trade surplus of <strong data-start=\"1472\" data-end=\"1490\">N7.46 trillion<\/strong>, driven by a 173% rise in manufactured exports.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1542\" data-end=\"1771\">Tinubu also noted that oil production rebounded to <strong data-start=\"1593\" data-end=\"1625\">1.68 million barrels per day<\/strong>, while Nigeria began refining petrol domestically for the first time in four decades and emerged as Africa\u2019s leading exporter of aviation fuel.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1773\" data-end=\"1819\"><strong data-start=\"1777\" data-end=\"1817\">Infrastructure and Social Investment<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1820\" data-end=\"2056\">The President revealed ongoing investments in rail, roads, airports, and seaports, including progress on the <strong data-start=\"1929\" data-end=\"1962\">Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1964\" data-end=\"1984\">Kaduna-Kano rail<\/strong>, and approval of <strong data-start=\"2002\" data-end=\"2016\">$3 billion<\/strong> to complete the Eastern Rail Project.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2058\" data-end=\"2436\">On social welfare, Tinubu announced that <strong data-start=\"2099\" data-end=\"2115\">N330 billion<\/strong> has been disbursed to eight million households under cash transfer schemes, while the <strong data-start=\"2202\" data-end=\"2244\">Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND)<\/strong> has benefited over <strong data-start=\"2264\" data-end=\"2284\">510,000 students<\/strong> across 228 institutions. Additionally, initiatives like <strong data-start=\"2341\" data-end=\"2354\">Credicorp<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2359\" data-end=\"2372\">YouthCred<\/strong> are expanding access to affordable loans for young Nigerians.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2438\" data-end=\"2475\"><strong data-start=\"2442\" data-end=\"2473\">Security and National Unity<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2476\" data-end=\"2741\">The President praised security forces for significant progress against terrorism, banditry, and separatist violence, stating that peace has returned to many communities. He urged Nigerians, especially the youth, to remain hopeful and committed to nation-building.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2743\" data-end=\"2768\"><strong data-start=\"2747\" data-end=\"2766\">Message of Hope<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2769\" data-end=\"2830\">Tinubu concluded with a message of resilience and optimism:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"2831\" data-end=\"2973\">\n<p data-start=\"2833\" data-end=\"2973\">\u201cThe worst is over.
