The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) has announced a revenue of approximately \u20a66 trillion and a profit after tax (PAT) of \u20a61.054 trillion for May 2025, reflecting increased operational efficiency and transparency under the new management.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In its second monthly operations summary since President Bola Tinubu appointed a new leadership team led by Bayo Ojulari on April 2, the national oil company reported steady gains across upstream and downstream segments. The May figures surpassed April\u2019s reported \u20a65.89 trillion revenue and \u20a6748 billion PAT.<\/p>\n

According to the NNPC, statutory payments to the federal government from January to April 2025 rose to \u20a65.58 trillion<\/strong>, underscoring the company\u2019s improved remittance capacity.<\/p>\n

Key Infrastructure Milestones and Output<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The highlight of May\u2019s report was the accelerated progress on the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) gas pipeline<\/strong>, which advanced from 70% to 81% completion, following the successful River Niger crossing. Similarly, the OB3 gas pipeline reached 96% completion.<\/p>\n

NNPC also noted:<\/p>\n

    The company further completed Turn Around Maintenance (TAM)<\/strong> for several key infrastructure assets, including:<\/p>\n

      However, the revamp of Nigeria\u2019s three key refineries\u2014Port Harcourt, Warri, and Kaduna\u2014remains under review<\/strong>, leaving uncertainty over local refining capacity.<\/p>\n

      Through the NNPC Foundation<\/strong>, the company continued its community outreach in May with notable social investments:<\/p>\n
