Obi made the statement on Sunday while addressing a pan-African audience of young leaders at the Africa Together Conference<\/strong> hosted by the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. The event was themed \u201cThe Making of Africa\u2019s Future Presidents.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Drawing on global examples, Obi cited countries like China, India, Indonesia, and Vietnam\u2014nations that have transformed their economies through sustained investments and disciplined governance.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese nations demonstrate how visionary leadership and a focus on human development can uplift entire populations,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Obi encouraged African nations to follow suit by prioritizing social investments and removing \u201crascality in governance.\u201d<\/p>\n

In his message to Nigerian citizens, Obi reiterated the importance of electing leaders with proven character, capacity, and compassion.<\/p>\n
