He emphasized that the Renewed Hope administration prioritizes <strong>speed, quality, and value for money<\/strong> in infrastructure development.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe contractors must return to site without delay and ensure quality delivery. Failure to do so will result in contract termination,\u201d Umahi warned.<\/p>\n<p>The affected projects include:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Agaje-Katcha-Baro Road<\/strong> (52km, GR Building and Construction Nig. Ltd).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dualisation of Suleja\u2013Lambata\u2013Minna Road, Phases I &amp; II<\/strong> (Salini Nigeria Ltd).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dualisation of Ilorin\u2013Jebba\u2013Mokwa\u2013Bokani Junction Road, Sections I &amp; II<\/strong> (CGC Nigeria Ltd).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reconstruction of Bida\u2013Lapai\u2013Lambatta Road<\/strong> (CGC Nigeria Ltd).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rehabilitation of Mokwa\u2013Makera\u2013Tegina\u2013Kaduna State Road<\/strong> (CGC Nigeria Ltd).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rehabilitation of Minna\u2013Zungeru\u2013Tegina\u2013Kontagora Road<\/strong> (Gilmor Engineering Nig Ltd).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Construction of Minna\u2013Zungeru\u2013Tegina Road<\/strong> (Develeco Nig Ltd\/HMF Construction Ltd).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reconstruction of Bida\u2013Cernu\u2013Wushishi\u2013Zungeru Road<\/strong> (Gerawa Global Engineering Ltd).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Niger State Governor Backs Terminations<\/h3>\n<p>Governor Mohammed Bago supported the minister\u2019s move, singling out Salini Nigeria Ltd for its failure to deliver since the project\u2019s award in 2010. He called for the revocation of its contract, citing a lack of capacity.<\/p>\n<h3>Next Steps<\/h3>\n<p>The ministry has established a committee to review the contractors\u2019 accounts and prepare for potential terminations. The Director of Legal Services has been instructed to issue termination notices where necessary.
