Access Bank has once again been recognized as Nigeria’s most valuable brand, securing the top position for the third consecutive year according to the latest report by Brand Finance. This achievement underscores the bank’s continued strength and positive reputation in the Nigerian market, with a notable 73% surge in brand value over the past year.<\/p>\n

Access Bank has been named the most valuable financial brand in Nigeria for the third year running. The bank also earned the 31st spot on the list of the most valuable brands in Africa, demonstrating its significant presence on the continent.<\/p>\n

Roosevelt Ogbonna, CEO of Access Bank, expressed immense pride in maintaining the top spot. He attributed this success to the bank’s dedication to excellence, innovation, and long-term growth strategies. Ogbonna emphasized the bank\u2019s commitment to providing exceptional value to customers and stakeholders while fostering positive change in the communities they serve.<\/p>\n

Toyin Henry-Ajayi, Group Head of Marketing and Retail Analytics at Access Bank, highlighted the bank\u2019s consistent performance and brand value growth, attributing it to the adherence to core principles of excellence through each strategic five-year cycle. She stated, “Our journey has been one of continuous improvement and adaptation, and we remain dedicated to setting new standards in the banking industry, while contributing our quota to Africa’s economic development.”<\/p>\n

Babatunde Odumeru, Managing Director of Brand Finance Nigeria, commented on the resilience of Nigeria\u2019s top brands despite the challenging financial environment characterized by a significant devaluation of the Naira and high inflation. He noted that many top-tier brands, including Access Bank, have continued to grow, with 23 out of Nigeria’s top 25 most valuable brands experiencing brand value growth.<\/p>\n

Odumeru also highlighted the dominant position of banking brands in Nigeria, which account for a substantial 50% of the total brand value within the nation’s top 25 brands. This category has been identified as the strongest and fastest growing, delivering significant value to shareholders and investors.<\/p>\n

Access Bank\u2019s continued dominance as Nigeria’s most valuable brand reflects its strategic commitment to excellence and innovation. The bank’s resilience and growth in challenging economic conditions further cement its position as a leader in the financial sector, both within Nigeria and across Africa.
