In a meeting led by the Deputy Governor of Kaduna, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, attended by security, religious, and traditional leaders, the Nigerian Army explained that the unintended attack occurred during a routine mission against terrorists. Major VU Okoro, the General Officer Commanding One Division Nigerian Army, provided details at the meeting.<\/p>\n
The government extended condolences to affected families and initiated search and rescue operations. Dozens of injured victims were evacuated to Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital, and compensation discussions with the victims’ families are ongoing.<\/p>\n
