{"id":2234,"date":"2023-06-06T09:13:06","date_gmt":"2023-06-06T09:13:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shakamomodu.com\/?p=2234"},"modified":"2023-06-06T09:13:06","modified_gmt":"2023-06-06T09:13:06","slug":"subsidy-removal-hardship-kwara-state-reduces-work-days-to-three-as-palliative","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shakamomodu.com\/index.php\/2023\/06\/06\/subsidy-removal-hardship-kwara-state-reduces-work-days-to-three-as-palliative\/","title":{"rendered":"Subsidy Removal Hardship:  Kwara State Reduces Work days to Three as Palliative"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Kwara State Government on Monday approved a temporary palliative measure to provide some relief to workers in the state following the Federal Government&#8217;s removal of diesel subsidies.<\/p>\n<p>In light of this, the state governor, Alhaji AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has ordered a reduction from five to three workdays per week for all state government employees.<\/p>\n<p>Monday in Ilorin, State Head of Service Mrs. Susan Modupe Oluwole made this statement.<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, &#8220;the State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has ordered that every worker&#8217;s workweek be reduced from five to three days per week.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Oluwole also instructed the heads of all ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) in the state to promptly devise a format outlining the alternating work days for each employee under their supervision.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of Service, however, cautioned the employees against abusing the Governor&#8217;s generosity and emphasised that her office would intensify its regular monitoring of MDAs to ensure stringent compliance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Kwara State Government on Monday approved a temporary palliative measure to provide some relief to workers in the state following the Federal Government&#8217;s removal of diesel subsidies.
