Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, has won the presidential election in Ondo State.<\/p>\n
Mr. Tinubu received a total of 369,924 votes to win the election.<\/p>\n
Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who received a total of 115,463 votes, trailed him from a distance.<\/p>\n
Peter Obi, the Labour Party candidate, finished in third place with 47,350 votes.<\/p>\n
The results also indicated that NNPP’s Rabi’u Kwakwaso received 930 votes, SDP (1,293), ZLP (4,783), and APGA votes (1206).<\/p>\n
Mr. Tinubu won decisively in all 18 local government areas.<\/p>\n
The APC received the most votes in Akure South LGA, where it received over 45,000.<\/p>\n
Votes from Odigbo, Ese-Odo, and Ilaje in the Southern senatorial district clinched the party’s victory.<\/p>\n
