My Family Does not Need Nigeria’s Fortune to Survive -Remi Tinubu

Remi Tinubu, the wife of Nigeria’s incoming president Bola Tinubu, stated that her family has been blessed by God and therefore does not require Nigeria’s fortune to survive.

Remi insisted that her spouse was seeking the presidency of Nigeria to do the right thing.

“God does this so that men will fear him, and reverence for God is the beginning of wisdom.” “Today, we heard in Psalm 133:1-3 that unless there is new unity, blessings cannot flow down,” she explained.

“Now is the time for Nigeria to come together so that our hope can be renewed.” To have faith in Nigeria, the young children who sang here today expect the best for Nigeria.”

She asserted, “Nigeria’s prosperity is the commonwealth; it belongs to everyone.

“God has blessed my family, and we don’t need the wealth of Nigeria to survive, but to do the right thing,” she continued.

She pledged that with God’s help and the prayers of all Nigerians, Christians and Muslims alike, the nation will be set on the correct path.

“I swear on this altar that with your assistance and God’s assistance, we will set this nation on the correct path. We require prayer; we require supplication. I can assure you that I am a quiet worker; I am not a noisemaker, but I do attend and hear.

“It’s not out of pride, but because of what the voyage has done to us; we’ve been battered, and our bodies will never be the same, but the Bible says that if the spirit is strong, it will sustain your infirmity, but when the spirit is gone, who can stand? But because God’s spirit resides within us, we will do the proper thing.

“We need your prayers, we need the prayers of the church, we need the prayers of the mosque, and we need everyone to pray to that one God that we just read about in Ephesians, who is the only God. He is a God of all humanity, He is sovereign, He is seated in heaven, and he does whatever he desires.

“I pray over this nation that there will be peace in our borders, that this land will be prosperous and grow by leaps and bounds, that Nigeria will be the focus of all eyes, and that Nigeria will take its rightful place among the Nations.”

On Monday, May 29, Tinubu is scheduled to be sworn in as the next president of Nigeria.
