Aisha Buhari, the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, has voiced confidence in Bola Tinubu’s abilities to lead Nigeria to a state of continuous unity, peace, and growth.

In a congratulatory note she personally signed on Wednesday in Abuja, the first lady expressed confidence that Tinubu would work diligently to fulfil the vision of Nigeria’s founding fathers.

She added, “I am convinced that the Tinubu/Shettima Presidency would lead this country into the future envisioned by our founding fathers.”

Aisha, however, stated that the election’s triumph was due to the president-elect’s skills, forethought, and desire to unite all Nigerians, regardless of their ethnic or religious background.

She praised all Nigerians, especially women, for their contributions to the electoral success of the party.

In addition to congratulating her successor, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, the first lady expressed optimism that Nigerian women will receive favourable treatment throughout her reign.
