The Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Isah Idris, announced that all Nigerian land borders will be closed for Saturday’s elections.

Idris issued the following statement on Thursday: “The federal government has ordered the closure of all land borders from midnight on Saturday, February 25, 2023 to midnight on Sunday, February 26, 2023.”

“Accordingly, all command comptrollers, particularly those in the Border States, must oversee the strict enforcement of this mandate,” he added.
