Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has shared his political ambitions and visions for the state in an exclusive interview with ARISE NEWS Anchor, Ojy Okpe. The governor expressed his belief that he is qualified to be the President of Nigeria and would take the opportunity if it arises.

During the interview, Governor Adeleke highlighted his ongoing efforts in Osun State, addressing issues such as debt management, payment of salaries and pensions, healthcare initiatives, road maintenance, and plans for the development of the state. He emphasized the need to tap into the state’s resources, including gold and bitumen, to improve its Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).

Regarding his relationship with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Adeleke expressed respect for the president, stating that he believes God chose him to be in office. He called for prayers for President Tinubu’s health and success in addressing the economic challenges faced by the people.

In response to questions about his future political ambitions, Adeleke stated, “I’m qualified to be the president of Nigeria, so why not? If God says that it’s time for me to become president, I will grab it and take care of my people.”

The governor also outlined his commitment to palliative measures, road infrastructure, healthcare improvements, and the development of tourism, culture, and entertainment sectors in Osun State.
