Manchester City won the FA Cup after defeating Manchester United 2-1 at Wembley Stadium.

Ilkay Gundogan scored in both half to win the first all-Manchester FA Cup final on Saturday.

Bruno Fernandes scored United’s only goal.

Man City started Erling Haaland, Kevin de Bruyne, and Gundogan to win a triple like their cross-town rivals did in 1999, while United played their best XI.

City took the lead 13 seconds in when Gundogan volleyed a Haaland knockdown into the top corner.

The visual assistant referee (VAR) gave Man United a penalty for Jack Grealish’s handball, which Fernandes converted to equalise before halftime.

Gundogan’s effort from De Bruyne’s free-kick sent the Blue half of Wembley wild.

Man City held on to win despite Erik ten Hag’s Man United’s best efforts.

Man City’s eighth FA Cup title completes their domestic double after winning the EPL.

Pep Guardiola won his 13th championship as manager with his second FA Cup win.

If they win the UEFA Champions League final next weekend, the Cityzens will become the second English team after Manchester United to win a treble.
