Tinubu Wins Presidential election in Ondo State

Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, has won the presidential election in Ondo State.

Mr. Tinubu received a total of 369,924 votes to win the election.

Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who received a total of 115,463 votes, trailed him from a distance.

Peter Obi, the Labour Party candidate, finished in third place with 47,350 votes.

The results also indicated that NNPP’s Rabi’u Kwakwaso received 930 votes, SDP (1,293), ZLP (4,783), and APGA votes (1206).

Mr. Tinubu won decisively in all 18 local government areas.

The APC received the most votes in Akure South LGA, where it received over 45,000.

Votes from Odigbo, Ese-Odo, and Ilaje in the Southern senatorial district clinched the party’s victory.

The INEC Returning Officer has not yet formally announced the result, which was presented at the collation center in Akure, the state capital.
